Lineage

Lineage is a painting about heritage, focusing on what gets passed down and what shapes us. The dreadlocks look like tree branches creating a ‘family tree’ / ‘tree of life’. The splashes of colour indicate different elements that impact / shape us and the results; the blue / turquoise represents bitter sweet elements and the yellow represents positive experiences, such as love, joy and faith.
